FRANCISCAN OUTREACH, VIENNA BEEF TO PROVIDE 250 MEALS FOR THE HOMELESS FOR MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. DAY OF SERVICE

WHAT:                       Franciscan Outreach’s homeless community will receive 250 meals, including Chicago’s favorite hot dog provided by Vienna Beef, in honor of the 2015 Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service.

250 meals will be served directly from Vienna Beef’s iconic hot dog cart by members of Girls in the Game – a nonprofit health and fitness organization benefitting girls ages 6-18 in Chicago.

Franciscan Outreach traditionally serves hundreds of guests from Chicago’s homeless community for dinner each evening.

WHO:                          The Franciscan Outreach Association of Chicago is a nonprofit organization that, for over 50 years, has provided meals, shelter, shower facilities, laundry services and case management services to hundreds of homeless men, women and children in the city of Chicago.
