When might including Franciscan Outreach in your estate planning be good for you?  If you can answer ANY of the following questions with a "yes."

Do you...

    - want to leave your assets to help those who need the basics in life such as food, shelter, and someone to help them build a better life.

    - wish to leave your assets to an organization that will handle it well for the benefit of those who need help

    -  want to keep doing good work after you have left this world

    -  know that your participation in the work we do is important to you

     - anticipate that you will have more assets in your estate than you need to take care of those who depend on you.

    -  wish you could do more now to help the homeless but believe that you might need all of your assets to support yourself in the future.

     - your estate will be subject to estate taxes and you'll need an arrangement to avoid or minimize them.

    - you need a current tax benefit and can make an irrevocable gift at this time.

You can make a gift to us in several ways...

    - include us in your will or revocable trust by leaving us a certain dollar amount or a percentage of your estate

    - name us as a beneficiary on an insurance policy or retirement account - don't forget about the policies that may come with an employer-sponsored insurance package

    - establish an irrevocable trust or other estate planning vehicle to give you tax benefits now and save estate taxes later.

Are you worried that you might change your mind in the future? 

You can change all of the estate planning options listed above, except for an irrevocable trust, at any time before your death or mental incapacity.

We don't have a charitable gift annuity program now,

but if you would be interested, please let us know. We may start one if enough people are interested.

If you do include us in your estate plans,
