~ Offices at the shelter, soup kitchen, and St. Peter's Church in the Loop

Our two interim housing programs:

Streets to Home -

~ vouchers for 26 units of supportive housing

~ funds for three case managers who provide general case management services, place homeless individuals into housing, and provide supportive services so that those in housing don't return to the streets.

~ primarily funded by the City of Chicago

The Interim Housing program at Franciscan House

~ 14 participants (included in the total of 252 participants) who have 24 hour access to the shelter

~ goal is to move to permanent housing in 120 days

~ life skills classes, motivational meetings, opportunities for job training, skill building through volunteering

~ intensive case management
