Come on out to beautiful Lake Katherine Nature Center in Palos Heights on Saturday, September 10, 2011 for our sixth annual Pooch Walk for the Homeless! It's a fun time! Get your dog involved in doing something good for the world!

What's a Pooch Walk? It's a 1.5 mile walk around a scenic park with your dog that raises money to support our overnight shelter, soup kitchen, and case management services for homeless people. Even your dog can help the homeless! But you don't need a dog to participate. You can come without a dog, reserve an invisible dog leash, or even bring an inanimate object that resembles a dog! This is a great event for groups like families, workplace groups, youth groups, church groups, scouts, doggie day care center teams, etc. We have prizes for reaching various pledge levels.
